Said Al Andaloussi, master artisan in basketry, was born and raised in a family of basket makers,in the mountains surrounding the city of Tetouan. His grandfather and his father taught him the art of basketry from a very young age. Said wanted to travel so he decided to go live in Spain.  After ten years spent in Barcelona where he worked as a master builder in the interior design area, he took the decision to come back to Morocco to start his own basketry workshop in order to keep up with the family tradition. He is know the proud owner of a small workshop with five fellow artisans working with him.
